Age of Empires III (AoE III) adalah real-time strategy (RTS) game yang dikembangkan oleh Microsoft Corporation Ensemble Studios dan dipublikasikan oleh Microsoft Game Studios. Dirilis pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2005 di Amerika Utara dan November 4, 2005 di Eropa, itu adalah permainan ketiga dari seri Age of Empires dan sekuel Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. Permainan ini menggambarkan kolonisasi Eropa di Amerika, antara sekitar 1492 dan 1850 AD (diperluas di Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs ke 1876). Ini terjadi di dan di sekitar Perang Revolusi. Delapan peradaban Eropa yang dimainkan.
